Privacy Policy

Useful Products (“we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”). This Policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

  • WhatsApp phone number — your only login identifier, used to send a one-time verification code and to keep your report tied to your account.
  • Email address only if you choose to supply one at checkout, and only so a payment receipt can be sent to you. It is never used to sign in.
  • Categorical demographic selections (e.g., age band, income band) and psychometric assessment choices.
  • Payment metadata (transaction ID, status) received from Razorpay. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank details.

2. How We Use It

  • To generate and deliver your personalised report.
  • To maintain your account so you can re-download your report.
  • To reconcile payments and provide customer support.
  • To improve the quality of the assessment engine in aggregate.

3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share the minimum data required with our infrastructure processors: our authentication and database provider, and Razorpay for payment processing. All processors are bound by their own confidentiality obligations.

4. Security

We use industry-standard measures including TLS in transit, encrypted storage at rest, row-level access controls, and least-privilege service credentials. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care to protect your information.

5. Your Rights

Under the DPDP Act you may request access, correction, or erasure of your personal data, or withdraw consent, by writing to support@findoom.io.

7. Cookies

FINDOOM uses only strictly-necessary cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising cookies, or tracking pixels.

8. Data Retention

Your account and generated report are retained for the life of your account so you can re-download the report. On written request for erasure sent to support@findoom.io, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, in line with DPDP Act §12, subject to any records we are legally required to retain (e.g., tax and payment records).
